About Attorney Ricciardone

Alex is an old soul who is loyal to old-school traditions and leans heavily on what he knows – hard work, earnestness, and commitment. In this day and age of online and digital influencers,  Alex bucks modern trends. He values real-life relationships and works hard to cultivate those relationships through genuine care, concern, and compassion.

Alex is a graduate of The University of Rhode Island in Kingston, Rhode Island. While at URI, he was the recipient of numerous accolades and awards including being inducted into the Financial Management Honor Society. In addition, Alex served as the President of the Financial Management Association and served on the Executive Board of Tau Epsilon Phi, a national fraternal organization. Alex completed his graduate studies at Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010. While at Quinnipiac, he served as the Vice-President of the Moot Court Honor Society. He also was a summer law clerk for The late Honorable Dominic J. Squatrito of the United State District Court and interned at the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office in the business and bankruptcy department.

Alex began his legal career at the multinational firm of Deloitte LLP in Stamford, Connecticut. Prior to joining Martocchio & Oliveira, Alex was employed with a large law firm in Farmington, Connecticut that specialized in business litigation and real estate transactions. He has been at Martocchio & Oliveira since 2018. His areas of practice are diverse and include personal injury, real estate, family law, criminal, probate and corporate law. In 2021 Alex was appointed as the Town Attorney for The Town of Southington, Connecticut. In that role, he appears for and protects the rights of the Town in all actions, suits and proceedings brought by or against it or any of its departments, officers, agencies, boards or commissions. He also is the legal advisor to the Town Council, the Town Manager and other town officers, boards and commissions in all matters affecting the Town.

Alex commissioned in the Air Force Reserve in 2015 and holds the rank of Captain. He is based out of Westover Air Force Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts. In his military capacity, he prosecutes court martials, administrative discharge actions and is the Chief of Military Justice for Westover Air Force Base. In 2021 Alex was deployed to Joint-Task-Force Guantanamo, Cuba, where he was detailed to the Office of The Staff Judge Advocate to support detainee detention and the 9/11 Military Commissions.

Alex is licensed in all Connecticut and Massachusetts State and Federal courts and is also a member of good standing of the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and their rescue doggy, Charleigh (a picture of Alex picking her up for the first time after a long  overnight ride from Mississippi, to the right of this page), competing in Crossfit and overcooking steaks on the grill.   Alex and his family reside in Southington.

Alex's relentless work ethic, attention to detail, and knack for storytelling and connecting with friends and strangers alike are traits that serve him well as a trial attorney and advocate for the injured and accused.
